Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • SPM/STPM/Cert/Diploma in Business Administration, Education, Communication, or related field.

  • Due to the nature of our client base, we are seeking candidates with strong interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as a strong command of both spoken and written Mandarin and English.

  • Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in higher education or a related field.

  • Experience with EMGS processes is an advantage.

  • Good understanding of international student visa procedures and immigration policies in Malaysia.

  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to manage confidential information.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and government agencies.

Job Descriptions

Job Summary:

The Executive, International Office is responsible for managing and coordinating international student visa matters — with a strong focus on student visa renewal and compliance with immigration and EMGS regulations. The role also involves providing administrative support to students and ensuring a smooth student experience throughout their stay.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Visa & Immigration Management

  • Handle student visa renewal processes, including data verification, document preparation, and submission to EMGS and the Immigration Department.

  • Monitor visa expiry dates and ensure timely renewal to maintain students’ legal status in Malaysia.

  • Liaise with EMGS, Immigration Department, and other authorities on student pass matters.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all visa applications and renewals.

  • Advise students on visa regulations, pass validity, and compliance requirements.


2. International Student Support

  • Communicate with students and parents regarding visa, admission, and related enquiries.

  • Provide guidance on immigration matters, health insurance, and other requirements.

  • Assist with orientation and welfare support for new and continuing international students.


3. Administrative & Reporting Duties

  • Prepare reports on visa renewal status and student pass statistics.

  • Ensure documentation and records are properly filed for audit and compliance purposes.

  • Support the Head of International Office in preparing documents and correspondence related to immigration and EMGS.


4. Communication & Coordination

  • Act as the main contact point for students and agents.

  • Translate and communicate important announcements, documents, and updates in English and Mandarin.

  • Coordinate with academic and support departments to ensure visa-related requirements are met for enrolled students.
