  • Minimum Master’s degree in Education. However, a PhD in Education (currently in progress) is preferred.

  • 5 years of experience in education settings, and 2 to 3 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level.

  • The ability to engage across interdisciplinary areas within education is an added advantage.

  • Strong passion for teaching and commitment to student-centred learning.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and academic writing skills in English.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse student populations.

  • Technology-savvy, with proficiency in LMS platforms and MS Teams.

Job Descriptions

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic academic to join our Early Childhood Education team. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, curriculum design, and student development across our Bachelor of Education (Early Years) and Master of Education programmes.

 At the postgraduate level, you will support a diverse range of specialisations encompassing a broad spectrum of educational domains, including:

  • Educational Psychology

  • Inclusive and Special Needs Education

  • Early Childhood Care and Education

  • Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESL)

  • Curriculum and Instructional Design for Sustainable Development

  • Educational Management, Leadership and Entrepreneurship

  • Digital Learning Technologies and Innovation

These specialisations reflect both the depth and breadth of contemporary educational practice and innovation.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

  • Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, tutorials, and instructional materials.

  • Develop engaging learning resources (slides, notes, readings, and digital content).

  • Utilise the Learning Management System (LMS) and digital platforms (e.g., MS Teams) effectively.

  • Develop, review, and update syllabi and course materials to reflect current educational practices.

  • Design and moderate assessments, including assignments, tests, and examinations with marking schemes.

  • Maintain and update course portfolios.

  • Supervise student work and provide timely, constructive feedback.

  • Serve as an academic advisor and mentor, offering both academic and pastoral support.

  • Contribute to programme development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
